Used crawler excavators are one of our core lines: we buy them worldwide, inspect them, and sell them on to contractors and dealers in more than a dozen countries. These are crawler excavators used for bulk excavation, trenching and loading, mostly Caterpillar, Komatsu, Hitachi and Kobelco. Buyers in the UAE are welcome to inspect any machine before purchase, and we arrange delivery to any emirate.

What we stock

Our crawler excavator stock changes constantly, we are buying as well as selling, so the list below is drawn live from our catalogue rather than written by hand. Typical makes are Caterpillar, Komatsu, Hitachi and Kobelco.

Every machine is sold as inspected. We do not overstate condition: what you see in the photographs on each listing is what ships. Serial numbers, year and hours are published on the listing page for each unit. If a machine you need is not on the list, we will source it, that is a large part of what we do.

Supplying the UAE

Dawood Ahmed & Co is a dealer, not a broker. The machines we quote are ours, which means we can confirm availability immediately and let you inspect before you pay, and because we buy worldwide, we can go and find a specific machine when our own stock does not have it.

We supply contractors, plant hirers and fellow dealers across the UAE, and we buy from them too. Repeat buyers order by phone against photographs; first-time buyers usually inspect, or send a third-party inspector, and we are happy to accommodate either. Delivery to any emirate.

Inspection, loading and paperwork

Machines can be inspected on any working day where they stand. We will start and run a crawler excavator for you, and there is no objection to you bringing your own technician or a third-party inspection company.

Once a machine is sold we handle loading and lashing, and issue the commercial documents. Local deliveries are arranged on low-bed transport.

Do you publish prices for used crawler excavators?

No, prices depend on the individual machine's year, hours and condition, and stock turns over quickly. Send us the specification you are after and we will quote the same working day, from stock or sourced.

Can I inspect a crawler excavator before buying?

Yes. Every machine is sold as inspected and you are welcome to view it on any working day, wherever it stands. If you cannot travel, we will send additional photographs and video, and you may appoint a third-party inspector.

Do you deliver to the UAE?

Yes, delivery to any emirate. Transport is quoted separately from the machine.

Do you buy used crawler excavators as well?

Yes. We buy used machinery worldwide, including in the UAE, either outright or as part of a package. If you have crawler excavators to sell, send photographs, serial numbers and hours and we will make an offer.
