Used Compactors, Prices for Taiwan Buyers

What a used compactor costs for export to Taiwan: what drives the price, what we have available, and how to get a same-day quote from Dawood Ahmed & Co, buying and selling worldwide since 1996.

We trade used compactors internationally, buying where machines come available and selling into the markets that need them, from our base in Jebel Ali Free Zone, Dubai and beyond. These are compactors used for soil and landfill compaction on earthworks, mostly Sakai, Dynapac, Hamm and Caterpillar. We trade regularly with Taiwan, sea freight into Kaohsiung. We buy in this market as well as sell into it.

What we stock

Our compactor stock changes constantly, we are buying as well as selling, so the list below is drawn live from our catalogue rather than written by hand. Typical makes are Sakai, Dynapac, Hamm and Caterpillar.

Every machine is sold as inspected. We do not overstate condition: what you see in the photographs on each listing is what ships. Serial numbers, year and hours are published on the listing page for each unit. If a machine you need is not on the list, we will source it, that is a large part of what we do.

What drives the price of a used compactor

There is no single figure. Year, hours, make and condition move the price of a used compactor more than anything else, and a well-maintained older machine will often be worth more than a neglected newer one. Sakai units tend to hold value best.

For that reason we quote per machine rather than publishing a list price. Tell us the specification you need and where it is going, Taiwan, via sea freight into Kaohsiung, and we will come back the same working day with a firm price on the units that fit, whether from stock or sourced.

Quotes are ex-works where the machine stands unless you ask for a delivered price, which we are happy to give. Taxes, duties and registration in the destination country are not included unless we state so in writing.

Inspection, loading and paperwork

Machines can be inspected on any working day where they stand. We will start and run a compactor for you, and there is no objection to you bringing your own technician or a third-party inspection company.

Once a machine is sold we handle loading and lashing, and issue the commercial documents. Shipping documentation for Taiwan is prepared in-house.

Frequently asked questions

Do you publish prices for used compactors?
No, prices depend on the individual machine's year, hours and condition, and stock turns over quickly. Send us the specification you are after and we will quote the same working day, from stock or sourced.
Can I inspect a compactor before it ships to Taiwan?
Yes. Every machine is sold as inspected and you are welcome to view it on any working day, wherever it stands. If you cannot travel, we will send additional photographs and video, and you may appoint a third-party inspector.
How do machines reach Taiwan?
By sea freight into Kaohsiung. We prepare the shipping documents; clearing at the destination is handled by your agent.
Do you buy used compactors as well?
Yes. We buy used machinery worldwide, including Taiwan, either outright or as part of a package. If you have compactors to sell, send photographs, serial numbers and hours and we will make an offer.
